The Controlling the Assault of
Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act (CAN-SPAM) took effect
in 2004 and requires unsolicited commercial e-mail messages to be
labeled and to include opt-out instructions and the sender's
physical address. Additionally, it prohibits the use of deceptive
subject lines and false headers.
Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have
established Terms of Use that effectively prohibit bulk Emailing.
Further, self appointed groups track the addresses of offending
senders and for a fee will help you filter out any email that
arrives at your email box.
WEB and DATA Services
believes, however that legitimate email sent to recipients that have
an interest in you and the products you offer is an extremely
effective marketing method. This type of email is not spam.
Let us help you to develop a legal Emailing Campaign that matches your
companies personality.

Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act has specified that
all Federal websites as well as those of any agency that receives
Federal funds must conform to accessibility standards for people with disabilities. Further,
a Congressional Subcommittee and the Justice Department recently concluded that these guidelines should soon apply
to all web sites.
Disabled users account for approximately
$170 Billion each year in revenue and are frequent users
of the internet for purchasing of goods and services.
WEB and DATA Services believes that ADA
regulations may soon apply to all web sites, and we are taking a leadership position by helping businesses to meet
these guidelines. In doing so, we hope to provide new products and services to a market which is relatively untapped.
All websites developed by
WEB and DATA Services
conform to World Wide Web Consortium
(W3C) guidelines.
